Scotland's wind sector is expanding rapidly. In this next decade we aim to deliver 40GW of offshore wind and a further 10GW of onshore wind. We need another 30,000 people to deliver these huge increases in capacity. Visit the Indeed web page below for a list of jobs in the wind sector in Scotland right now.
This Skills for Offshore Wind portal site aims to help signpost candidates looking to enter the industry and companies looking for training to upskill their staff or also looking to enter this market in Scotland. It will provide help for private sector and public sector training providers looking for support and will aim to assist all levels of skills provision in Scotland that could be applied to the offshore wind industry.
While the site is currently under construction we can only provide certain elements of such support but the aim is to grow this resource to encompass all types of support, training and skills provision available in Scotland through working with our delivery partners, such as ESP and Skills Development Scotland, and members of the Scottish industry clusters.
