The national offshore wind supply chain cluster for Scotland, the Clean Energy Cluster, will take up the role of supporting companies to access the offshore wind market. The DeepWind cluster is handing its membership over to the new cluster as part of a plan to expand the breadth and depth of support for the offshore wind supply chain in Scotland.
Operating across the whole of Scotland they are seeking to build upon the area’s well-established strengths by developing the supply chain and workforce in support of the commitments in the Offshore Wind Sector Deal. Their vision for 2030 is for Scotland to become home to a thriving, comprehensive, internationally competitive offshore energy supply chain serving local, national and international projects.
