Ocean Winds Supply Chain Impact Report Launch Event, 28th of June, 2024

Concrete Substructures for Offshore Wind, 3rd October
This event brought together many of the players in the concrete substructures supply chain to look at the capacity, capability and innovations of this part of the offshore wind sector. This covered mostly floating substructures but with some of the speakers also discussing Concrete Gravity Base Foundations for fixed wind.

INTOG Conference, Aberdeen, 15th May
The Decarbonisation and Innovation Challenges
This event showcased all the successful bidders in the Innovation and Targeted Oil and Gas (INTOG) leasing round from Crown Estate Scotland. DeepWind partnered with the UK oil and gas regulator, the North Sea Transition Authority and Aberdeen's energy transition champion, Energy Transition Zone to deliver this event.
The conference was split into two main sessions for the TOG and IN parts of the round and with the developers in each presenting on their projects. These were:

Moray West Meet the Buyer event, Aberdeen, 23rd of August 2022
Following the successful February 2022 event where Nexans engaged with potential suppliers for onshore scopes Moray West hosted an in-person ‘Meet the Buyer’ event for offshore focussed sub-contracting scopes that Nexans and Seaway 7 were looking to procure. Companies that registered to attend the event were eligible to take part in short 1-2-1 discussions with Nexans and/or Seaway 7.

INTOG Leasing Round event, Aberdeen, 17th of March 2022
DeepWind and the Oil and Gas Authority (now the North Sea Transition Authority) delivered this workshop on the Innovation and Targeted Oil and Gas (INTOG) leasing round.
This INTOG event saw the oil and gas and offshore wind industries coming together to discuss how this new leasing round offers the opportunity for a new approach to decarbonising the production energy of oil and gas infrastructure in the North Sea.
The OGA and Crown Estate Scotland delivered updates on this leasing round and representatives from both industries will discussed their projects and technologies. Update: This leasing round was launched on the 10th of August 2022.
